how did i know you were going to say this when i saw you replied... what did you hate about it? my knives are sharp enough to shave hair and it was easy to get them that way, i don't see whats to hate. although i do have complaints. like the clamp doesn't hold the knife very well, and it can scratch the blade. other than that i like it.

i just got the deluxe system from bass pro yesterday on a whim (i had seen my friend use one a while back and thought it was cool, saw one yesterday and picked it up) its a really good kit, its great how it keeps the honing stones at consistent angles every time. it got my fixed blade hunting knife VERY sharp, just running through the coarse-ultra fine stones. the sell additional stones for it that get finer, and stones for serrations etc. it came with natural stones, but they have diamond stones available, which i would imagine are better and would get the knife sharper than the natural stones. overall, super easy to use, works great, and is consistent. well worth the $45 i paid for it, and i recommend it to anyone. http://www.lanskysharpeners.com/LKCLX.php

i like tungsten. the weights are so tiny and compact they are less noticeable. also the sensitivity definitely does increase.

yeah i know a lot of people that spray createx clear over their paint. on some of my baits, until i get better, i spray the base colors and then before i go to paint details, i dip it in polyurethane and then once that dries several hours later i will paint the details and if i mess up i wipe it off with a warm wet rag.

i love fishin for bluegill on the fly rod and ultralight. sometimes i catch some other assorted sunfish this way like redears and warmouth.
