  1. rathewr than a cone why not look into a gheenoe? they are extremely stable and can get a motor on if desired. Thats my suggestion i have fished in a few gheenoes and canoes and by far the gheenoes were extremely sturdy! I weigh 215 and my budy is at least 170 and it was fine with a trolling motor and all our equip. it was a 16' fiberglass gheenoe. just a suggestion

actually this was asked in the Professors corner. I think he said that it is not invisible but actually looks black. I have used it and caught many fish but that doesnt mean anything. Read the FAQs in the professors corner its in there.

i use zooms hook made for it and others like it and love the plastics. They have showed me great success. just yesterday i caught four on them ranging from 1 to 3.8 lbs. i love them! i have noticed that they have to be reeled in at a fairly quick speed to keep the legs kicking or they tend to stop. try retrieving it a little faster.

not sure about which frogs you have but i have the zoom horny toard and use a hook made my zoom. Its extra wide and has a screw on top to screw the frog on then hook through leaving the hook exposed but flat against the back to keep it weedless and it swims great. I have had a lot of success with these frogs and hooks! http://www.***.com/descpageZOOMTERM-ZHTH.html I have another brand but cant think of it right now that also works great. Good luck!

  11. looks like he got you pretty good. I know around me i don't mess with the snakes cause we have a lot of cottonmouths(waer moccasins) and they are more than aggressive. I have had a few follow me around the lake and actually come at me when i was completley ignoring them. Mean things.
  12. Right now i have 5 rods/reels and thinking about getting a sixth. I have 3 spinners and 2 baitcasters. I was wondering what yall think for the central florida area what i should have prerigged most of the time? I do not mind trying anything new so whatever yall think ill give it a shot. The rods i have are 3 medium action 1 medium heavy and one ultralite for that extra little fun.(caught a 4.04 pounder on it last week haha). Anyways wheat lures do yall suggest with what reels? thanks. Drew

Howdy Yall. This is my first post here and i want to say yall have a great forum, real informattive. Thanks. Thursday 6/7 I bought my first baitcast reel. An original ambassadeur (didn't feel the need to spend too much when learning) and found a little retention pond by my buddies house. It was real open so looked like a good place for practice. I had an unweihted Pearl Super Fluke on just for some weight. I only had about a half an hour to throw out lines befor dark and in the process of learning brought in three little largemouths.. I was very surprised by the outing but very pleased. Overall got to practice with my new reel and brought in 3 fish in 30 mins. 8-)
