Has anyone used this reel yet? or know of any reviews seems like it could be a good reel...And one more quick thing so i dont have to make another post has anyone used Trilene XT? i got some for really cheap and it seems ok and is this like mono or fluro it dosent say anywhere on the package..

yeah i dont have much clear water around here soo thats not a problem...but how do you feel about the line its self not its transparency dose it feel like a cheap gimicky braid or you think its for real?

Jannsnetcraft.com...pretty cheap too. A better option though is to ask some of the wood carvers on here to make you some, you know the will be high quality if you have seen anyones work on here

Hey muddy can you share what you have found out on the wind and weather? All i hear is about wind blowing baitfish to certain areas?

Has anyone painted these using an airbrush? ive painted plastic bodies by hand and it worked out ok? Just wondering if anyone has used an airbrush to do this..Trying out my first airbrush today could be exciting haha or really messy

I havent caught a good bass in about a month and it dosent help that the guys i fish with are doing really well right now..I mean good for them but even when i throw the same baits as them i dont get anything..Im thinking about taking like a week or two off from fishing just to clear my head..what do you guys do in a slump and thanks for letting me vent haha

I am wanting to buy some wood bodies that already have a lip and hardware attached..so all i will have to do is paint and add hooks? anyone on here have any like that for sale or know where i can get them?

Thanks everyone for there thoughts, Im deffinitly gonna have to head out to wal-mart soon. I just have one more question how do i know what hook size to get for worms, is it based on length or what, cuase ive had it where the hooks only go down about 1/3 of the worms body wich leaves a lot of body and no hook? hopefully someone understands this question haha

There is soo many different kinds of plastic worms out there, if anyone could give me a general idea on what kind of worms to fish when..I recenlt just started using plastics often, all i have been using is the tradditonal texas rigged senko on a weighted hook. Ill take Any Opinions Thanks!!

make sure you take atleast one shallow running smaller crankbait and a good jerkbait, my friend caught a 3 pound small mouth from shore on a shallow crankbait fishing of a big log in the water...just take that into your gameplan
