  10. Went out with Dan+ today for a couple hours. Wasn't quite the bite I had the other day but we still managed a few. We ended up with 12 bass. Most of our fish were tight to wood. All of Dan's fish were off jigs while mine were off traps and spinner baits. Water temps ranged from 56-62. Yes, I said 62!!! Water was still very muddy. Probably around 12" of visibility. I was working a trap around a lay down in less than 3 ft of water when my bait got slammed. It swam straight towards me. I finally caught up and new I had a huge fish. I really thought it was going to be a 7/8 lbs. I was shocked when I finally got a look near the boat... My first snake head. She went 7 lbs. She completely swallowed my trap. It was so deep in her mouth we couldn't get it out. Dr. Dan will be performing surgery this evening to get my lucky bait back followed by a nice fish fry!
  11. personally if they are following it that far I would speed it up. it sounds as though they may be getting to good of a look
  12. the heavy bags did not come from bull run. water temps on Sunday in bull run were 52-54. clarity was getting better too. I would say about 18"

  14. I would throw it every where a baby bass would not venture out to...off points, edge of weed lines, drop offs, really anywhere away from the bank.
  15. baby bass hands down for me.
