Skunked in DR

4.2 lbs Otterson Lake, Ontario on a watermelon senko in about 3 ft of water. Now that bass is finally open again up here, I'm going back for her big sister who I've hooked and lost twice now.

Do you rig them point up (same way as main hook) or hook down? Or do you vary based on condition.

Do you put it on with backing or spool it directly. Just waiting for my Cabela's order to come in. Couldn't find it anywhere locally.

I've had good luck with bleeding pearl and fire tiger but only for walleye and pike. Can't buy a bass bite on them and I know they're there as others are getting bass on shad raps and other minnow baits.

Hi long time lurker who finally sorted out his registration. From all the discussion of Fat Ikas, I decided I have to try them. Around here all that is available are the Saltwater Fat Ikas, are these the same as the regular? Cheers.
