  1. pushing it back works for me. that means 2 days snowmobiling in pittsburg just became 3.
  2. My vote is for stumpfield. looks like this will be my first time out this year. I'm having a real hard time putting the snowmobile away. This year has been amazing. Still plenty of snow up in the woods of Pittsburg. I'm headed up Thursday coming back Friday night. So it looks like I'll be spending tomorrow getting my gear out of the shed and ready to rip some lips.
  3. Whats up Jay my 4+lber doesn't count as big? I'm pretty sure I found a couple of pics of a 6 and 8 lber from a tourney there when I was looking for info before last years get together.
  4. Oh yaaaaaa! I'm 99% sure I'll be there. Should also have a buddy with me.
  5. So its been awhile and been preoccupied with my other addiction......Snowmobiling. Just got back from another trip to Pittsburg. Anyone else here ride? If so get up there while you still can. Tons of snow still. Today was the best day of riding I've ever had. Trails were super smooth and fast. Off trail was sweet!! Chest deep snow in the woods!! Anyhow its about time to get my gear out and ready to go.. maybe this week sometime. Shane, if you're talkin bout where I think you are, I may be able to meet you wed afternoon. I should be home by 3ish. Let me know.
  6. Here's a pic of the 5lber Shane spoke of.
  7. CONGRTATS on the great day and new PB marc! I knew your time would come. Was that at Lily?
  8. Too bad about no pic, but congrats on a sweet bass. Was that at crooked? There are definetly some pigs in there. Thats where I caught my PB 6.75lb. Never catch alot of fish there but i've had 5 over 5lbs there. Congrats!!!
  9. W-I-N-D-Y-!!!!!! Very windy. NHfroggin had the most with 5, and I had the biggest with a 3lber. I think there was only a total of 11 bass caught between the 6 of us. pretty lame day. Hopefully we can all agree on a date and place for one more in late sept or early oct.
  10. Jay, Do you have an address for the launch?
  11. I'd be in. maybe make it on a Sat so more could make it.
  12. I respectfully disagree, it does hurt the population (granted in the case of a large lake not nearly as much) but if someone takes a large mature LMB out of a 30 acre pond it definatly has an impact on population. More so however, now nobody can catch that fish again nore its potential hundreds of off spring. Bass are indeed a sport fish, (much like a trout) but their a hardy fish and can deal with some rough handling. Unlike trout, who'm if you so much as breath on it wrong it'll be dead. I can understand the trout fanatics to a degree with the barb-less hooks and such being that their such a delicate fish. Anyway there just isn't any reason to kill a nice LMB their certainly not the best fish to eat and other than eating one there isn't any other reason to kill one. Catch and release. 'nuff said. X2 If someone really wants to take a bass for dinner then keep 1 or 2 of the smaller ones. That could actually help the fishery. While there are usually plenty of bass in a particular body of water, its a small percentage of them that are trophy size It takes years for a bass to reach 5lbs in this area of the country. I've never eaten a bass but have never heard of them being very tasty. So why wouldn't we want to preserve the big ones for other fisherman to catch again. It is simply selfish to keep a nice LMB.
  13. Welcome to the boards Bucket! You and NHBASSMASTER seem to breaking that boat in nicely. sounds like you're finding them with ease. What types of lures are you guys using? I fish mostly softplastics and have been doing rather well with Quality fish but the quantity hasn't been there lately.
  14. just got up, everything is still in the car and I can be ready in minutes......I can meet you whatever time. just let me know
  15. just got back Jenness Pond in Pittsfield. I've never fished there before but my buddy Paul has and got some giant LM and SM. I did ok with 4 SM all around 1-1.5 lbs 2 LM 1 dink and a 3lb9oz and a big pickerel. Paul got a nice 2lb10oz SM.
  16. Sounds like all the more reason to go! Besides if you don't go who's gonna make the movie?
  17. 1 day non-resident NH fish license is $15 Hope you can make it
  18. I also stick to relatively cheap combos. Dicks is where I get mine. 6' med tenacity combo. I believe they're 39.99. Favorite set-up I've ever used, but I've never tried any high end gear.
  19. Welcome to the boards Triple D! Lokk forward to hearing about your fishing and seeing your pics. Tight lines!
  20. I sure hope we get a few more, but if not I'm in anyways. Would not be able to make it Saturday however.
  21. Congrats!! What a way to break in your new boat. Sounds like an incredible day to me. Tons of fish and some biggins! What more can you ask for?
  22. Where is everyone? unhbass? fmoore? wagn? bwillis? eloo? Where you all at?
  23. did I see that boat on craigslist? It'll do you just fine. The last couple years I was using a canoe. I got the crawdad just because its on a trailer and easier to transport/launch vs. having to load everything back in car and strap on the roof. Its also alot more stable when standing. Hope to get a 14ft deep v for next year but time will tell. Now go get yourself some pigs and share some pics. You should grab that motor from Shane and join us on the 27th!
  24. I've got a coleman crawdad. Its small and sloow to cross the water, but it treats me good, and geets me to where the big girls are! ;D
