  1. Im just curious if anybody still uses these awesome baits? I cant believe they dont make them anymore! I try and find them at garage sales, old bargan centers etc. I have found some on e-bay a few times also. The only reason i can think of as to why they stopped making them is they never wore out or really faded in color no matter how many fish you caught. That being said you really only had to buy them one time in a few colors and you never seemed to need anymore. I bought some years ago before my first trip to Lake Fork in early march. We hired a guide the first day we were there to learn a little about the lake. It was sooo cold the guides on our rods were freezing and we fished mostly coves "as did every guide on the lake" to get out of the wind. We had thrown everything the guide told us to but nothing worked. I finally had guts enough to pull out my new can of pork-o's and after several "funky" looks from our guide and my fishin buddy i began casting. In a 15 minute time span i landed a 7lb plus, 6lb and 2 over 5lbs. Needless to say there were no more "funky" looks and i had the guide diggin him one out of my tackle box! ;D Every guide in that cove came over to see what the heck we were using that day. My guide drove all the way to Sulpher Springs that night to try and find some pork-o's for his next days customers. I hope i didn't bore you guys to death with my story but it was and still is an amazing bait. If you can get your hands on some give it a try. I hope you all had a great 4th of july thanks
  2. i appreciate the replies and info. that stinks! i really liked their wacky craw because it looked so much like a crawdad. i have tried some different ones that looked awesome but the bodies were hollow and the never would stand up right on the bottom. (mad man and yum brands) i tried all types of hooks and riggings. i ask several people at bass pro if they knew how and they laughed and said thats been the million dollar ?? for a long time. as for the big bite jigs you might find some on e-bay. i have found some wacky craws there. thanks again
