Welp, this was my week to get my hair tight and flat again at my barber, there was a daddy with his son and daughter in there and the daughter(wasn't shy) said "look daddy he's getten a hair cut like granpaw" So I comment back that "Grandpaw gets a flat top too" And the son said "no its not a flat top, its a Old Fart Hair Cut" I almost got a free hair cut after that comment So, there ya go : The new sling for a flat top, anyone else support a dew like mine :-? If so- are you at least still in your 30's like me? or do I need to get a time machine and go back where I belong ;D

Looks great my 1436 jon I priced alum for flooring, lets see a 1inch L-angle at 25ft was 23.74 a piece. 1 1/2 square tubing was 37.95 at 12ft a piece. it was cheaper if you got the stock at full length, but 25 foot aluminum bars hanging on my little ford ranger wasn't practicle. After seeing what you already got I would keep it. Looks good man, what else ya got on it :-?

Hey all I know Rod and reel set up is a factor, baits have to be with the correct rod. But on a simple thought I've been thinking tonight is what came natural to me on what bait I first started off throwing. It was the soft baits rigged either way, Man I was always succesful with that ;D It took awhile on some of the hard baits. I have an old friend that took off on the diving crank bait. He wouldn't fish much with softs in the beginning mostly due to more fish caught on his crank bait NOW, I don't want this turning into soft verses hard baits > Just the truth on what was it that you hardly needed any practice with, You know!?--- what came natural to ya :-?

Ahh! Boat Project ;D Get your metal from a local metal supply shop(start there) Alluminum is best period for the boat but, not for the pocket book Some do wood sealed with water stain(Thompson maybe) You'll have to decide what you want on that. Prayers for you and the family. I know it takes time to adjust to this, Me and my family went through a similar situation, you can't put a time limit on it. I think it was almost a year for me to relaxe a bit. Criminals are running amuck around us, between the predators and drug dealers and users and a non-sensor social society our kids haven't got a chance. somewhere in there life time they will be affected by two or more of those dangers I mentioned. > even tho we have it, you still can't count on "911" saving you. Your husband is doing exactly what I did, You can only educate your kids about firearms, I try to take the curiuosity out of my kids by allowing them to shoot with me. I've explained the dangers of freinds being curiuos as well. I've had us all go thru firearm training. (this helps because you can freeze up under attack) I'm very prejudice, and its against predators, thieves, illegal drugs and or alcohol substance abuse- not color. Wipe these out and we could have a better place for the kids to enjoy.

Did the Rods, it works but, I had to watch the for warping. The sides did it real bad. > I would recommend "Paint on Bed Liner" LBH has it on his boat and I plan on doing it to my 14 jon This stuff is tuff and can seal, now you'll hear about wieght issues and drag issues with it but, I think for a jon its perfect. Finally saw "We are Marshall" Great movie, I think they did a great job with it, can you imagine what that whole town was like That I'm sure was tuff and never the same again. Highly recommend watching it. I remember here back in Dec. 13th 1977 when Our Evansville Aces Basketball team crashed in a airplane as well. The Evansville Aces basketball team was traveling to Middle Tennessee State University for its final away game of the semester when the plane crashed 90 seconds after takeoff from Dress Regional Airport. All 29 people aboard were killed, including the 14-man basketball team

At work, we heard it on the radios and went up front to wacth it on tv. time went by and everyone kinda walked back out one by one to tell others and it was just me and the office manager there when the first tower fell. That was scary and so real. The other thing that made me sick was the drive home, watching all those Americans racing to the gas stations, that said alot to me how really people are. Sad, America just got attacked and no tellin how many died and what was next but, they made sure they had a full tank of gas. I pee off some when I say this but, oh well, its not my consious bothering me.

Yep totally agree and they are great trucks-and can scoot too Nothen worse than showen someone what you just got and proud of it when all they want to do is rain on your parade I still wonder what the new prices are doing to the used prices-in 2003 a new Ford truck basic was around here about $18,000/16,000 now you can get a 2007 basic for $12,000/10,000 : Man its gotta have some kind of impact :-?

Ya got that right Catt, I've seen what glass can do to someone too many times. I make windows for a living. Glass will do anything, we sill ours with a oven and that stuff doesn't cool down quickly, I can imagine what the heat would've done as well to ya. Your stove accident reminds me of a bad stove fire that happened to us last year. It was right on the line on calling the fire dept. When fire gets that big it doesn't smother out very well Glad you or anyone else wasn't hurt. And I noticed your at 3000 post big dog ;D

Yep,Thanks to the Good Lord you alright Its amazing, how one second you could be thinking about your bills, the next second you realize how close you came to leaving this world Yep to the seat belt Our first year of marrige I almost lost my wife, my wife was heading to work when a fella that was out drinking(all night I guess) ran a red light 5:30a.m. and hit her T-Bone style, cops were amazed she servived with bumps, bruises and scratches, of course we now know who to thank for that one and been warring a seat belt ever sense ;D

Former Mechanic, at 19 I thought my calling was working on Diesel's--NOT! But, I do know that I always had someone getting into my tools- now it started out with respect, they'd ask I said yes and they'd put it back. Well of course it went to "he always says yes, so he won't care if I borrow it" and I wouldn't see it again either > So I'd have to pee someone off for not asking and not have no one talk to me for a day or two and all would go back to respect for about a month, then it would start all over again(vicious cycle) ;D Back in school I really don't remember having this problem, the teacher made it clear tho It was only in the real world. So you will get upset about it-but, some get mad. I Think the teacher needs to step in and run it correctly
