Bounty On Fish Snakehead In Maryland

Featured Replies

My only concern about this tactic by the MD DNR is that even though money is a great motivator to catch and kill snakeheads, it also could be a motivation for someone to raise and continually stock more to perpetuate the cycle.

I just get scared whenever the govt intervenes in anything, it usually doesn't go to well.

I had a conversation this morning with one of my co-workers about this. I'm glad I read the article fully. My co-worker was under the impression that DNR would pay $200 for each snakehead caught. I had to explain how this actually works.
