Where am at and the kind of fishing dictates what have. Fishing offshore, everything I need and use is in my tacklebag, snack( being a diabetic it's a must), 1 bottle of water and and a phone if we need seatow, never had to use it. From shore I can't think of anything other than a rod and a few lures.

Usually water a energy drink hat polarized glasses phone and instead of bug spray try a thermacell they work great they are scentless and keep most bugs away I even use one during early archery for deer season.

Phone, sharp knife, food if its a long day, plenty of drinks. The usual.
