Anyone Know Anything About This Abu Garcia Reel

Featured Replies

Picked it up at a Yard Sale over the weekend. It was pretty fithy from storage so I took it apart and cleaned it up.Lubed it and it all seems to function fine. Havent cast it yet though.

Anyone know the exact model of this reel, perhaps the year of manufacture or ball park? Any specs(gear ratio and such) would be appreciated as well.

Give the man a ceeeegar. Pre Ultra Mag XLT which had the thumb bar. Late 80's. The handle fits any pre-2010 Revo. Love the Swedes.

Nice find, a buddy that does not fish anymore gave me the Mitchell look-alike to that reel. It still works fine, wish it had a thumbar. As someone said, late 80's vintage.
