I just sold my 14 year old Stradic 1000 ($100) and I have some money to spend on a new UL spinning reel. I'm looking for something around 6 ounce reel for a light St. Croix rod I have for Crappie fishing. Below is my range and it goes from $50 to $179. I enjoy the feel of a light weight rod/reel combo for crappie fishing.

I have the 6720 last years version on a Premier 4'6" UL Mod rod it is a very nice combo. Ive had my Stradic 1000 on the rod, and really save the cash, the President is very nice.

Where are you getting the Supreme XT for $99 is it the "new" version.9225? Its an awesome reel for that price. I have the old gold and the new 9230.

I was at a Bass Pro this afternoon and the President is sure now on my list.

Best prices I have seen in KC MO area is Rogers in Liberty MO. He is always $30-$50 cheaper on mid priced reels.
