owner new soft bait ?

Featured Replies

Have any of you tried the new owner baits like the 6.5" shaky worm or 4.3" yuki bug? I m wondering if it worth the money to buy these bait?

I saw an ad for the Yuki and I'm sure it'll catch bass since I never saw a hunk of plastic that didn't. Will it bring something new to the table which will increase our collective success? I seriously doubt it.

Especially at that price.

I ordered some for me for Christmas from my parents anyways just to try out. I won't get them till Christmas but I got the 6.5 worm and the yuki. At 5.99 they better catch fish like senkos do.

I recently got a pack of the shaky worms from TW. I have not fished them yet. They look pretty good but they are very expensive. If they don't outproduce my other shaky worms, I will replace them.

Also, the packaging is stupid. The worms are separated and kept straight in a clam-style package inside the bag. That's fine and dandy for keeping their shape, but it makes the package a whole lot bigger than it needs to be.

The owner plastics at my local tackle store slipped out of their little plastic holds and were even worse off than if they were packaged as normal.

The Yuki Bug has a cool action!

Here some videos of the new Owner baits:

I just got the yuki bug but have not tried it. The yuki is almost exactly the same as the nories bug that kinami (gary yamamoto's sons brand of plastics) use to make that was discontinued. No need to try to see if it works because it will, no doubt about it.
