Phone # for Huddleston custom baits?

Featured Replies

I placed an order on this site and payed thru PayPal. Haven't received a repsonse to my order or a subsequent email. No phone number listed on the site, which in itself is odd. Anyone done business with them or know them? Would you have a phone number? Not a great deal of money involved, but I'd really like to get the lures for my spring fishing trip. Maybe they are away for Christmas, but my little voice in my head is starting to tell me something isn't right.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

I have done business with them a few times.  The company is legit and you shouldn't have anything to worry about.  My baits did however take a considerable amount of time to arrive.

I've ordered through them several times.  Usually only took a week to get my baits.  Mr. Huddleston is a very nice guy to talk with.  They will resolve your problem I have no doubts!  ;)

By the way, I have hooked many on the six inch weedless.  Awesome bait!!  Good luck, remember slooooow.

Thanks guys! That is what I bought was the weedless trout. I'm heading for Lake Burton, Ga the last week of April and I can't wait to try one of them on the largemouth there. I'll give Mr. Huddleston till after the 1st of the year and see if I hear from him or get the baits. Then I'll give him a ring. Have a Merry Christmas and a nice New Year!

Got on TW and the prices are great! Ordered some of the new weedless grass minnows to go along with the trout I ordered from Ken H. Can't wait till april and some lunkers on Burton!

I have some of the grass minnows too.  They seem soooo small compared to the 6 inch and 8 inch hudds.  They are nice, sometimes I cast it out, forget about it and just let it sit there when I'm fishing the bigger hudd and it gets bit..  just watch your pole!!  Its so small I can't see it until it's right up to the shore.

How is the swimming action on the Grass Minnow.  Is it just like the regular Hudd?  Does it swim right on really slow or really fast retrieves?

I believe it is just like the hudd's.  It seems to stay at a consistent depth that you let it sink to regardless of how slow you may be bringing it in.  Seems perfectly balanced, although some hudds, (six inch) seem to swim at a slight angle these so far are perfectly upright.  And of course the swim pattern is very tight unlike the nice wiggle you get from 8 inch hudds.

Strange, my 6" weedless swims fine. Except when the line gets short, say 6' from the rod tip, then it tends to swim funny if you speed it up, or if the rod is not inline with the bait.

Aren't the 8 inch weedless supposed to be out soon?  How much do you think those will be?

Please tell me you placed the order on 12/24 and expected an immediate response.   :;)
