i am looking at buying a new boat and i found one but i am unaware of a 225 ficht injected Evinrude engine is. How do you guys feel about this type? any help is very much appreciated !!!!

I don't own one but I'll tell you what a Evinrude dealer told me... If it hasnt blown yet it will! Some people love them and have never had a problem though. I went with a yamaha vmax. With that said it's a boat motor they all have problems at some point. If you like it, have a mechanic check it out first and enjoy.

I wouldnt do it. Thats coming from a guy that has one. Its a good motor when its working.

I owned a 2000 and a 2004 Ficht-injected Evinrude. Blew the 2000 powerhead up three times, and blew the 2004 once. I was getting about 100 running hours on each before they blew. I would stay away from a Ficht.
