Who's Ready For College Football

From what I have heard on the Sirus College Sports station, the SEC wants the three top rated teams and one at large team for the four team playoff.

The Rose Bowl wants to protect its Big Ten - Pac Ten matchup.

The announcers said that the ADs will ask the Presidents to approve the 3+1 setup for 2013.

And you guys are right - its about the money!

The best part of college ball is watching the dreams of half the teams go down the tube during the first 2-3 weeks.

Ain't that the truth!

What if SEC has three teams in the top 4 like last year? LOL.

Then the three SEC teams would play in the playoffs and the rest of college football teams would go bonkers and lobby to change the playoff system.

I doubt that would happen again in a long time. However, the SEC does want an at large team just in case the SEC has two teams that are ranked in the top four.

You made a good point. Let's see how this plays out.

Wow I was so excited to see this thread but after reading the posts I had second thoughts about posting...but nope...this brat/thug/a-hole couldn't stay away GO GATORS!!!

As for Miles not being a great coach, he went 13-0 without a quarterback last year. That is an excellent accomplishment.

13-0????

13-0????

They just wanna forget about that last little "hiccup". oops!

Then win your friggin' conference and stop complaining about deserving rematches.

This playoff thing will be interesting to watch. If human voting is made a large part of the deciding of the "four best", then this will be among the biggest shams in sports. We don't need the BCS title determined by whichever school has the most beat writers with votes.

I feel like not matter what system they use. People will still whine and cry about what happens. They could even go back to voting for a national champion. People would still whine and cry.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

I guess I spoke to soon. I was just reading some thing on ESPNS college game day facebook page. The fans are all ready crying about it.

Thats an easy one... Go Canes!

The Canes should do well in the ACC this year, especially when they play the lower echelon and weaker teams like Duke, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Virginia, Boston College, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Miami.

Oops. Did I put Miami in that group????????

OOMod, 12-0 regular season and then the SEC Conference championship game.

Bama? Who is Bama? Didn't we beat Bama in Bama Land? Where am I? What happened? Where are our BCS rings?

Oh I know, I was just messing with ya. Being a Hog fan, I just have to!

Jeff

I'm so ready. I'm an OSU fan. We lost Blackmon and Wedden last year though. OU looks to be tougher this year.
