Skirted Bullet Weights

A while back I read a post here about fishing these with a trailer like a jig. I'm hoping to try this this season but can't find the thread naming the company that makes them.

Can someone please hook a brother up ?

Catt posted the company last time. Since then though, Tackle Warehouse has started selling some.

I got a bunch from the eBay guy, Uncle Skip, and I like them a lot. The skirts are all rubber, so not as flashy as the ones at TW, but a lot cheaper. You can get a variety pack of 8, with different weights and colors, for about $10. They're solidly made too.

If you're interested,  search for "Texas Rig Jig" and he comes up.

Tackle Warehouse only has 1 oz & 1 1/2 oz which are fine for punching but I throw a 1/4-3/8 oz more.

What ever you do i would not suggest these, they are terrible. I got two of the one ounce and two of the 1.5 ounce... all four were terrible, the weights have sharp edges which fray and slice line. the actual weights were lopsided and not symmetrical and the hole didn't even go straight through is was curved. maybe i got a bad batch but I had to share my mistake experience.

how about a skirt, bullet weight and a bobber stop?

This isn't exactly what you posted about but Pay-Check Baits has what they call a Punch Skirt you can put on a worm hook and fish with a sliding or pegged weight. This might be a little more flexible rig.
