Anyone used them yet?  I Looked at BPS today and couldn't find them  :o .  So I came home, looked on e-bay and ordered 2 for $6.85 delivered  :) .  Just wondering if they have been productive.

Hi Jon,

I have used the 4" and 6" models in various colors. The 4" has been quite succesful but I only caught bass up to 2lb with them.

The 6" models I only got late last November and did not have much of a chance to use them. But another friend of mine who also got 6" models has scored a 5lber in a reservoir where larger bass are quite difficult to catch - and that was on his first attempt! So they seem to be promising.... ::)

Good to know, I ordered the 4", maybe I'll order the 6" as well.

Thanks again,

Jon

I have recently used the 4" version in a small lake where shad are the most plentiful forage. It has been quite successful on more than one occasion.

I had the opposite experience of CyBasser every bass cought on this has been over 2 lbs.

It 's now my favorite swimbait. It imitates big gizzard shad better than any other swimbait I have tried. I have already caught a 12.6lb LM and a bunch of five to seven pound bass on it. We caught the big fish in this photo on the ten inch version last Wednesday.  We also lost a fish much bigger than these that looked to be eight to ten pounds the same day.

Good Info thank you.

What's with the picture having no back ground?  Trying to keep your spot a secret?  ;D ;D

what type of retrieve are you guys using on these?  can you simply swim the back or is a jerk/pause more successful? (or neither?)

I like the lure... ...N. Pike Love these things....I live in wisconsin so when throwing a large swim-bait your just asking for a Pike or musky to come up and destroy your baits with their big *** teeth...or just bite you off.......and they always do.....as well as larger spinner-baits and cranks.....I usually have to fish with a leader on most lakes if I want to keep my lures for more then a few casts........

Randalls been fishing up by the glaciers again....odd to think theres Glaciers in Georgia, eh?

            LMAO

Congratulations Randall, you are now a full blown swimbaiter! You have joined the ranks of the glacier fisherman! Don't forget to do it with your night pictures this summer. A little messing with brightness and your night spots will get blown too!

do u just use them alone..or add weighs or anything??

Thanks guys....the bait monkey read this thread and is warming up the car as we speak for a ride to bass pro.

One question (kind of ties to the other one)  does this bait sink on the pause?  If so, how fast?

I'm not sure.  If mine gets here prior to the weekend I'll let you know.

The kickin' minnow sinks. I like the way the six inch bait is weighted but on the ten inch I take out the belly weight and melt the plastic back with a piece of plastic worm where the weight was when fishing water less then ten feet deep. That's the way we caught the glacier fish.  ;D I usually just cast and bring it back as slow as I can with it still kickin'. There are times when a jerk or change in speed can trigger a strike though.

I'm still waiting on mine to show up.  I guess old dude got sick and it took several day's for him to get them in the mail.  I'm praying they show up in the mail tomorrow so i can use them Sunday in a tournament.   :-/
