In the spirit of the $$$ to spend, how to do it...

Featured Replies

I have seen a few of these threads lately and thought it was a great idea.  Lets see what you guys think:

$250-$300 to spend

Pretty much have every plastic I could ever want at this point.  I have a lot of this and that, and I have a few specific needs I need to fill.

1. Punching weights

2. Punch skirt

3. Attractant

4. Spinning set up for misc. techniques (have 2 already, ml and a m)

5.  Mid and deep diving billed cranks

6. Suspending jerkbait

Don't need a lot of the items, maybe just a couple of this and that.  What do you think guys?

Attractant=Mega Strike!

Weights=Tru Tungston all the way.

As far as a decent, inexpensive spinning rig? I can personally recommend a Shimano Sahara, paired with a Shimano Compre MH fast action rod.

tungsten weights for sure

Cant go wrong with anything shimano

Far as jerkbais

Kinda of pricey but lucky craft pointers

And finally mid to deep cranks little johns

I love my sahara, I actually use the 2500 for drop shotting.

I will look at the compre MH, I like the ratings on it.

What lucky crafts do you recommend.  Probably need something in say 5-8ft range and then maybe something in 10' suspending?

Do you like the little john's better than the dt series?

I will definitely get tru tungsten weights, 3/4 oz and 1 oz and Mega strike is the way I was thinking as well.

TT Denny B. Flippin weights.

A Rapala DT series crankbait.

River2Sea makes a suspending jointed jerkbait called the V-crank.

Smelly jelly liquid in bass feast scent.

Definitely go with Tru-Tungsten weights. Xcalibur XT3 twitch baits. Norman Deep Middle N cranks. Spike-It chartreuse/garlic.

Man, can't believe I am going to say this but I have plenty of fishing stuff,so I would keep it to put gas in the truck/boat.
