Trigger-X soft plastices?

Featured Replies

Has anyone used these yet.  A friend of mine told me about them so i went to their website and looked at them.  They have some good looking baits but i i don't know if they can really trigger a bass to eat by releasing pheromones.

I saw these at Dick's and there is about 6 in a pack I think.  They are individualy wrapped in some kind of liquid like the Gulp! baits are.  In my opinion they are just a big knockoff of the Berkley Gulp! baits. 8-)

Bought several packs of the 4 inch shaky/dropshot worm. 8 in a pack. Havent even opened them yet. 100% biodegradeable so thats a plus. Im sure they will catch fish. Will let you know in ther near future.

Do these things smell similar to Gulp, or do they have their own unique nasty smell?

They smell similar to Gulp. I tried the Flapdad. The material is kind of hard and dries up pretty quickly.

Didn't "trigger" any baits for me..... ;)

I did see the lizard in the water and it has a nice action. But, I will stay with my Netbaits and the Rage!

I baught a bunch of packs last year and ended up giving them away. They were horrible. They were like fishing with a popsicle. The baits were a little too bio-degradeable. They are on liquidation in montreal for super cheap. I talked with a rep for rapala and they said there formula was off and they had to fix it because they had too many complaints. Thats why they stopped making them in the green packs and launched the new agrresion series which will be more like traditional plastics in a bag. Aparently they fixed there durability issued and this years products will be winners. I will try them and will post the results.

It would be a real accomplishment to find enough of the type of pheromones they need to scent baits with in this entire country.
