Strange Tow Vehicle

Featured Replies

I was just looking at the launch pictures from the BASS Northern Open. It shows Cliff Pirch launching his boat and the tow vehicle.......a UHAUL truck. Anyone know the story behind that??

Probably something as simple as a breakdown.

I agree. You can rent them for the day for like 19.99 in some areas provided you dont go over 100 miles

Is that Woo Daves, a former Classic champion, in the photo to the right?

Clifford Pirch travels with his family, and after trying everything from a double-decker trailer to two trucks, he’s found that renting a U-Haul is the most cost-effective means of getting himself to the ramp without bringing the whole gang.

this was in the photos from the first day at the tournament.

probably a breakdown. i rent uhauls on the side with our electrical company. you wouldnt believe how many people come in to rent trucks bc of break downs. funny people thou.

Sometiumes you gotta do what you gotta do! I guess he really wantes to fish, cuddo's!

you think a U haul is strange,I'd hate to see what you would say if you saw my Audi S4 on the ramp :laugh5:

My buddy had a twin turboed 800+ horsepower Trailblazer SS with a mean sounding cam in it. It ran low 10 second quarter miles so it had to have a roll cage. The looks on peoples faces as we sat at the ramp were priceless.
