Bass Pro Shop list...?

Featured Replies

Generally, I'm not a big fan of the BPS rods.  This is because they generally feel like clubs in my hands.  But this year, they introduced the Microlite series.  Furthermore, they are on sale not ... ~$20 off depending on the model.  I bought one of the ML spinning rods and am pretty impressed with the way it feels and fishes ... I paid $80 for it in my local BPS store (retails for $100).  Not a bad rod I must say.

BTW, I heard from a buddy that the new Pro Qualifier are similar (if not the same) as the new Revo's ... anyone tried or know if this is true?

Actually, the Micro Lite has been around a while and retails for less than $50. Are you talking about the Carbonlite?

Yup ... my mistake, Carbonlite! ;D

what haven't I bought haha

I picked up a Rick Clunn baitcaster as it was on a pretty awesome clearance price...so of course a rod to go with it.

Basically any techniques I've heard about I go in and get the rigs for it.

BP makes some cool clamp weights that you can add to your EWG hooks that are cool.

Well, I just got a $50.00 gift card for my birthday, and I went right to the BPS website instead of the store. The shipping sucks ($4.95 up to $25.00...$7.95 $25.00-$50.00) but I figured gas to the store would cost me that. I placed an order and they let you know if they have it or not. BIG PLUS!!! Drive to the store and then find out they don't have it, or the workers can't find it, or don't know what they are talking about. After you've seen the fish tank once, the wonder of the store is over IMO. I just want the product, and the site is the best way to do it.

I usually hold out for the Classic Event, but I could resist their sale on the new 6'6M CarbonLite rod $69 paired with '09 BPS JM Spinning reel $64. I needed a combo like this for those slow days when I'm forced to finess fish or slow it down.

last time i was there i got a tungsten flippin weight, a pack of 10" anacondas, and a knife sharpener.

Dang Dave, I thought I was the only one that bought the weights one at a time. That stuff blows my budget fast.

When I go to a fishing resort over night, I leave my rods in the boat but I take my Tungsten weights in the cabin. ;D
