Berkley Gulp Baits For Panfish?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used any of the Berkley Gulp baits on panfish? I'm thinking about buying some of the Mini Earthworm baits. How long do the artificial worms last compared to live worms?

1" Gulp minnow..........any color.......... nose hooked on a #8 VMC spinshot hook, 1/4 oz dropshot weight. Drop to any mark on your graph in 10+ fow..........reel up fish and repeat........ALL DAY LONG. Perch, bluegills, rockbass, crappies, and even some decent size LM/SM bass. If where your fishing has fish, you will catch them on that.

They are much thinner than a real worm and will require a very light wire hook. The worms work, but take ww2farmer's advice and use the minnows.

I've had very good luck with the gulp maggots for bluegills and sunfish also. I usually fish one on a 1/80 oz jighead under a small bobber.
