Figured i would share this with you it was in the bass master magazine. Its whole purpose is to have no action at all. all you do is take a straight fat worm type bait throw it out on the edge of grass flats or lily pads point your rod at the lure and slowly reel that's it its kinda funny but i thought i would give it a try

I saw the same article and I am going to try it for sure!!!!

Sounds that same as deadsticking..?

I thought deadsticking was not moving the bait at all just letting it sit in one spot this is supposed to look like at minnow that is completely calm not worried about being eat therefore he is a easy meal

P.S. this was the lure i was gunna use for it http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_44686____SearchResults

I bought some simular baits from bps, only they have a paddletail. Never even got a tap on them, that's not to say those in the link won't work.

Welp, deadsticking is about the same..works great for floating swimbaits ect. I also use that technique for Senco's, craws and creatures, except in the warmer months when fish are activly feeding.

Charlie Brewer came up with this technique a long time ago. It's called "sliding".

Actually, the lure is the Slider, the technique...fittingly to this thread... the "Do Nothing" retrieve.
