Jerky Jays?

Featured Replies

I watched a local fishing show the other day and the host of the show was using a bait called a Jerky Jay. The day he taped the show was not very favorable since a massive cold front had just past. He mentioned the temps dropped from 90 to 60's within one day. Given these conditions he still caught many quality bass. I was very impressed.

Has anyone else ever used a Jerky Jay?

Castaic makes a Jerky J soft jerkbait. Looks about like everyone else's. Fluke, Shad Assasin, Berkely Power Minnow, and on and on.

My guess is Castaic baits is a sponsor of the show.

Not to say they aren't good baits though.

You have to admit that they look more realistic than a super fluke.
