Do you guys use a swivel with your jigs or tie them directly? A buddy swears by using a swivel, while I tie them on.

Can honestly say that I have never heard of anyone using a jig with swivel. Cant even think of why u would want to use one.

Never. Most bottom type lures are hard enough to detect a strike at times, why add another piece to the rig?

I just called him to ask, and he told me the jig has a better rise and fall action lol. He may be visiting these boards to defend his statement lol. I think he's just too lazy to tie on.
