Tough fishing today on Pickwick, bass were uncooperative but this nice crappie took a liking to a square billed crank!! :smiley:

    We caught a few bass, mostly small. I think they are transitioning, should be good soon when the shad get to the back of the creeks. We fished from the back of Bear creek (where I caught the crappie and one keeper bass) down to the Natchez Trace Bridge. My partner caught two Gar, one on a frog at the edge of some grass, probably 3 ft long!
