I placed an order last night, picked up a barely blemished powell 766 for a fraction of the price new. They called me today and said that they couldnt find the rod and if I wanted they will give me a new one for $11 more, still a fraction of the price new!

Mike..I wanted the Dyobens, but $$ is tight and needed a couple baits, so..I went with the Okuma 7'11" heavy..I know of 3 people that have the same rod, and really like it. Should be good for the Duct..lol

Nice, I purchased a new swimbait setup myself. I went with the G-Loomis 956 Swimbait rod and Revo Toro 51.

Cool..I'm lookin at either the 301 Curado, or the 253L Luna.

I looked at the Curado 301 but just couldnt get past the green color, HA!

Bass are green... ;D  Hey, some people don't like colors..Me..I don't care, as long as the reel performs..

Another reason for me was that I heard the Toro's hold up to salt use but the Curados dont fair so well.

I actually had problems getting on about the same time you posted this. I had checked several times and it wouldn't let me on but I was able to get on here and BPS and several other sites too. Must have been an issue on their end. At least that was my take on it. I tried about a half hour or so later on and was finally able to get in. Glad that ordeal is over!!!
