Mojo Spinnerbait Rod

So, is this rod worth $100 or is it a overpriced brand name?

I have no experience using them myself, but my Step father uses them and loves em. I see them thrown out about everytime someone here askes about a rod in that price range and nothing negative about them.

I used one for 3+ seaons until I upgraded to a LTB this summer. Good rod for the $.

I have one too and i really like it. I am not much of a spinnerbait thrower but when i do it workes vey well. I actually use it more for topwater frogs and 1/2oz texas rigged plastics and it works well for that too.

The only gripe i have is that i wish it was a touch shorter because from a kayak 7' baitcastign rods can be a pain sometimes.

I owned one for a couple years, it's a pretty decent rod. I didn't use it for spinnerbaits, stiffer than what I like to throw a spinnerbait on. It make a pretty good pitching rod though and that's what my buddy I sold it to uses it for.

I have the Spinner bait model. I also use it for Topwater Frogs and it's worked out really well. I also on occasion will throw swim jigs with it.

To the OP: The rod is worth it to me......maybe not to others. If that is your price point, I don't think you will be disappointed. It has a 5 year warranty. Rod/Reel/Line discussion can go 100 different ways here, so the best judgment is to either try one out in person or trust your gut. I have 3 Mojo rods, love them all. I also have Triumph, Premier, Avid, Rage.....they are all awesome rods for the money.
