6" Bps Stick-O Worm

Featured Replies

I bought a bunch of their 6" worms and love the Okeechobee Magic b/c it is a monster worm EXACTLY like Yamamoto's 6". However the other 8 colors are all skinny. I don't know if the thick/monster style is their 'new' generation or 'old'. Does anyone know if they are switching to a thick worm? Or saving money and going skinny?

I use a lot of both 5 3/8 and 6". The only difference is length. I have not bought any since re-stocking last spring (2011) while they were on sale, so there could have been a change made this year that I'm not aware of. I hope not, I have caught many fish on them. A "magnum" size might work though...

X2... I hope they don't change a thing cause these are my favorite Senko (style) worm.

Clacker I can't believe you noticed it also,I thought I was the only one. Seems like BassPro is getting cheap, usually purchase baby bass color cause it is one of the fatter ones left.

Man I hope they are not changing. I have caught a ton of fish on these. They have saved my butt on more than one occasion.

is it me or do they seem more transparent as well?

I'm still ok for a while. I have a three bags I bought about a year ago that I have never opened.

I confirmed it with a 'resident plastics' guy at a BPS location. the new bags of worms are starting to come in skinny. he said corporate usually proudly announces any changes to their lines but he didn't hear anything about the senkos. that made him believe they are trying to fly under the radar w/ the change and save money.

If you want a thicker version of the Stick O's then buy the 7" version, they're way thicker than the smaller baits. If it's longer than you'd like then cut however much you want off the top and fish it like that.

They had a problem with quite a few of the plastics shrinking up during the pour process. It's not a long term thing, if you've seen it at all.

Checked the Stickos at our Cincinnati store yesterday. Ours are still fat.
