At 0300 my butt is in bed dreaming of lunkers and stuff.

re the ultrasonic cleaners, looking at amazon they have a bunch, starting basically $30 and up. Anything specific I need to look for or just a generic one?

- thanks

I did this yesterday, I had never done it before. Usually its just regular take apart/oil/cleaning.

My Bass pro reel (PQ) had a huge difference in casting range. The bearing on the spool tension was jammed up, unknown to me. It took soaking and spraying with the shields off to make it spin freely..

Today when testing it, I was able to almost clear the spool of 65lb braid, casting a BPS humping toad with a swimbait hook with 2 brakes on with a mh carbonlite rod. If I used my normal spro or koppers frog, it may have emptied it. We shall see.

I also noticed a difference in my revo sx, brakes 3/4 of the way turned up and it was bombing baits. I need to try my lews a bit more with a lure I use regularly to see if I notice anything major.

I have a citica also, but I left it at the ol ladys house, so I must wait n see
