Skirt Pattern For Perch/sunfish

Featured Replies

I'm looking to place an order for some skirts to make some perch/ sunfish skirts over the winter, Looking for something natural as the primary forage in my lakes are perch/sunfish.

Anyone have a combination they like to use?

Nice, those are close to a fire tiger pattern too..

I was thinking of putting these 3 together. post-30713-0-90809300-1353075014_thumb.jpost-30713-0-87297300-1353075021_thumb.jpost-30713-0-47580500-1353075031_thumb.j

Looking at it maybe its a tad too dark? I was looking for something really natural, A lighter green with some black barb wire striping might depict a perch a little better.

I like to use a bluegill pattern a lot in the clear water of our area. Take a look at the Bluegill color of the Netcraft Turbo Flare Skirts. Another nice bluegill option is the Z Man Skirts in the bluegill color. The Turbo Flare is generally a dull bluegill color, while the Z Man skirt is a little brighter. Both colors work well, it just comes down to personal preference.

I use this for the top, about 30 strands and the bottom gets the perch belly about10 strands you have pictured.

That is a nice looking spinner. Where'd you find that head, if you don't mind me asking. I might have to make a few of those.

Got it at some mom & papa tackle shop..

Those are some great skirts. Thanks A-Jay =0) Bluegill is the primary forage in my local lake too. Can't wait to try out the new skirts!

Very nice, thanks.
