A color or pattern on a bait that you CANNOT stand

Featured Replies

The Budweiser can paint scheme.

Chartreuse /pepper plastics and those laminated swirl colors. Cant bring myself to even try them. I pretty much stick to natural colors even in clear water.

Firetiger doesn't produce much for me either but the very first lure I ever wanted was a firetiger Rat-l-trap! I like firetiger! ;D

Color I don't like is the Rapala DT Bluegill....it looks nothing close to a bluegill! A buddy of mines kills them on that color but it's so ugly I won't throw it.

Thats strange, because when I was 17, I had a friend take me to the sporting goods store and he told me to pick 1 lure out for my birthday. I picked out a 1/4 oz FIRETIGER Rattlin Rapala...Its a color I have grown to hate, dont ask me why I picked it out...

Firetiger and clown.  Never caught anything on either color.

Some soft plastics have a color called Electric Chicken...That color makes my stomach turn.

I'm suprised about all the hate for firetiger.  My favorite crankbait is a Baby -1 Minus in Firetiger.

I must reiterate . . firetiger is probably my favorite color in life. There are so many variations of it as well......

This is kind of my version of a bluegillish tiger. Not a true firetiger, but definitely influenced by.

That bottom one ain't no firetiger...That resembles a lot more like a green sunfish. That has to be one of the nicest paint job I've seen in awhile...WOW!

I do well with firetiger around NoVa and the muddy streams in the spring.

The color I can't buy a bite on is that doggone black/blue combo... One of the most popular color schemes nationwide and I can't get a nibble on it... I'm a glutton for punishment though, and bought three more black/blue jigs at Gander the other day...
