How Much Does This Appear To Weigh?

Featured Replies

Hey guys! I think I have this in the correct thread section. :-) Anyway, this is the biggest bass I ever caught and it was a few months ago. I cannot remember what the scale said. I remember the scale saying 5 something or maybe 6. I think closer to like 5 or 5.5. I did not get a measurment on it either. I posted a few pics here. Any input is appreciated.

I think you are in the right ballpark! 5 something

Jeff

this is one of the tougher ones. The picture angle is just too hard to call. I have seen several 4's with bulging eyes as well so you can't rule that out. But could be anywhere from 4-6. Looks great.

with that angle id say anything between 4 and 6 like shimmy said

I think 5.5 was what the scale said. It was an awesome fish. I caught that fish then one a little smaller like 4.0lbs. The first one I screamed like a little girl. Lol

That is an extremely difficult angle to guess the weight of that fish. I'd say you're probably pretty close with 5.5.

Looks very similar to one I caught that was roughly 5.5 this summer.

Man that's a close match!!! Nice fish too. :-)

That looks like a really old fish, just looking at it's eyes. Congrats on the fish!
