How Big Is This Bass And How Do I Build A Gallery/add Pics?

I don't carry a scale because it would be yet one more thing to carry through the woods and sometimes, there aren't even portgage trails, plus I've already got a boat atop my shoulders and seven-foot one piece rods that are forever getting caught on trees. So, I've never weighed the bass I catch in western Ontario. Heck, I've never weighed any bass ever. If they're near 19 inches, I measure them. To get a sense of visual scale, I crank my arm back and try to get the fish as close to my head as possible. Plus, I'm nearly six feet. post-40653-0-48404300-1354204036_thumb.jIt looks like I'm floating on water, but that's because I'm sitting in a canoe. I was trying to add this pic to the personal best thread, but I wasn't able to attach it because...of my ignorance. So, I was going to ask about how one attaches a photo and when I was starting that thread, I saw an attachment link below. So, I'm now killing two birds with one stone, getting a sense of weight and hopefully, someone can tell me how to attach a photo in my post in someone else's thread.

Without a length and girth measurement it's just gonna be a guess. I would say around the 3-4# mark. If I recall you have to use the full editor if you want to attach pics to a reply.

I would say a solid 4# and change

Smallmouth are especially hard to guess from a pic typically.

Nice fish and a scale really doesn't add very much weight at all.

Buy a boga grip & hang it from a belt loop when your walking. You will never know what fish weighs without a scale. If you don't care what it weighs save the scale money for something else more important. Just don't ask what do you think it weighs?

Okay, what's the full editor?

And thanks for the guesses. I guessed four pounds and change too just looking at pics of weighed fish and comparing it to that one.

Good point about not asking if I don't weigh them.

I personally don't care to have an exact weight, in the ballpark is fine with me. I have a nailpolish mark or a thin piece of tape at 20" on my freshwater rods, gets me close enough.

To put pics in your gallery go to pictures on the top bar, hit upload and you can create an album. Once your album is made subsequent pictures can be uploaded by going into your profile and uplaoding them at " my gallery".
