So do any of you lizard fishing pros have experience with this bait, specifically the 10 inch version, I'd really appreciate any feedback - good or bad.

I'm looking to add a Large lizard bait to the arsenal and I'm hoping this might be possible option.

Thank in advance

Thanks Jeff - I'm not a big lizard fisherman but have heard good things about that one (especially from down south).

But - you know what it's like - I was hoping to show them something different and BIGGER . . . . . .

Yeah that is what I like about the El Grande and Larry the lizard is how beefy the bodies and tails are compared to other lizards.

I'm glad you posted that question, I use Zoom Lizards all the time with really good results, the 11" in deep water and 8" in shallower water, I have never tried these and often wondered if I should pick these up.

So many baits, so little time. What do you need big lizards for A-Jay? Aren't you iced over up there?

Lake Fork Tackle Hyper Lizard, its 9 inches of thumpin lizard.

Haven't tried them yet but did stock up on them for Mexico this year. They have a built in rattle chamber at the base of the tail. Last July we did well on generic 12 inch lizards in Bk/Bl, that I got off the internet. I only bought 25, I used a bunch of super glue trying to scrounge parts together to keep on fishing. We caught lots on the 8in. Zooms as well.

Hello A-Jay.

I can tell you that I developed these, because the Classic Zoom Lizard and the rest just didn't have the qualities I was looking for. Don't get me wrong I have used all of them and had good success, but I wanted something for Trophy Bass, that would work every where. These are the Harley Davidson of Lizards. Yes you can go with any lizard, but I can tell you I've take the challenge with guys at Lake Fork and various other Bass fisheries, and at the end of the day, I've witnessed guys dumping whole plano boxes of Zoom Lizards in the trash after what they experienced with Larry the Lizards.

The rattles are custom in the tails, which no one else does, but it's more than that, the design makes these swim, dig, crawl and just plain mimic the real live Salamander/ Water-Dog to a tee. You may want to take a look at the videos on the web-sight and compare for your self the action, not to mention the rattle chamber system.  Yes Zoom lizards are cheaper, but so are Ford Fiestas compared to BMWs.

I see comments form guys who have never even used these, so how would they really know what they are talking about.

I hope you have good health insurance, because if you mess-around and put these in the water, you will get your arm broke.

Sincerely,

Larry the Lizard

Hello Larry and Welcome to BR ~ !

Thanks for the response.

I did purchase several packs of the 10 inch and I'm happy to report that they do come as advertised.

A-Jay

I have used Zoom lizards for 10 plus years on the local lake I fish with a lot of success. I used them almost exclusively until I started using baby brush hogs with much greater success. Ill have to try these lizards out, I would like to see a resurgence in lizard success where I fish.
