Weighted Hooks?

Featured Replies

What are the best quality weighted hooks?  I am looking to purchase some for use with tube worms and super flukes.

Owner beast hooks are the best weighted hooks , period ...............

I personally don't care for the twistlock or ones with a small pin up front, I like having the bait cover the eye, so there is more plastic surrounding the main hook itself... but thats my preference that has worked well for me.

This year I'm trying those crimp on weights from Bass Pro.  I'll be using them on Gammi EWGs and Owner twistlocks.

a little pushy, pgersumky! haha

Figured using the crimp ons would give me the ability to play with the position of the weight, varying the action by bait.   Plan to try them with senkos, small swimbaits, and maybe even some chigger craws/pacas to see how it works.  Also planning on picking up some of those snagless brewer slider heads to play with too.

Maybe he already has a bunch of unweighted hooks, i.e. enough hooks, just not enough weighted ones? Never used the beast, but it looks good to me.

Again, wanted to experiment with position of weight, with different baits.
