do you fish crankbaits all through the summer or only here in the spring(prespawn and spawn). What about lipless crankbaits too

Year round.  Same with rattle baits.

If there's no ice, I'm throwing crankbaits. Both lipped, and lipless.

Yes, Crankbaits including lipless cranks are successful year round. Find out where the fish are and adjust your crankbait running depth accordingly.

i fish both styles year round ...if i fell i can work them in the terrain i will at least give them a try every outing..

I tend to keep the lipless ones for warmer water 55 degrees +.  But 9 times out of 10 I throw lipped cranks all season long. One problem I have with lipless cranks is the fact the fish seem to throw them easier...due to the heavy wgt.
