BPS XPS Pro Series Tungsten Spinnerbait = JUNK!!!

Featured Replies

Ok, I used this spinnerbait Sunday and it came back with no blades on it. A $7 spinnerbait that did not come back with the blades. (I am going to try and upload a pic I took of it) Picture did not work so, I am uploading the page from BPS, it has a terrible rating, hahaha

Stay away from these lures!

I haven't found a single BPS hardbait that are worth their money. Even the 3 dollar cranks. The only BPS brand I think are worth what they cost is their stik-os at 5 dollars for like 20.

Now that's just plain funny.

I wish we had a photo of your expression when you pulled the bait out of the water and saw the blades were missing.

Taylor, people buy the BPS products as we equate BPS with quality.

You can throw this spinnerbiat a number of ways but the bottom line is that whey it leaves your possession you expect it to return as it went out....with all of its blades still attached.

War Eagle. Go for the War Eagles at Green Top.  ;)

I'm sure BPS will credit you for the lure or

offer replacement. They carry both War Eagle

and Terminator spinnerbaits, so using an in-store

credit should not be an issue.

8-)

If you are going to spend that amount of money for a bait go with a War Eagle or something comparable, not the house brand.

I will give BPS this though, bout 10 or so years ago they made a spinnerbait like the Terminators- had the titanium wire and wouldn't get bent out of shape.  It was about $2.  It was the best spinnerbait that I had ever used, the bad thing is they only made it for a couple years, the last fish I caught on it threw the blade at the boat and no other blade would work.

I just picked up a few spinnerbaits off Ebay in one auction,New in the package. One of them was a BPS Lazer Eye pro series 1/2 oz model.

Well I now know why the seller had it up for auction. Its still in the package and the smaller Willow Leaf has fallen off the clevis.

Think BPS would take it back being that its brand new even though im not the original buyer and wouldnt have a BPS receipt?

I would advise staying away from this Spinnerbait as well. The reviews all say the same(for the most part) about the clevis and blade falling off.
