Who has this rod? I am looking to replace my Mojo flipping stick with #1 something that is telescopic so it fits in my rod locker, #2 something lighter and way less tip heavy, #3 somthing a little less "powerfull" most of my flipping is done around docks, milfoil pockets, laydowns with 1/4-1/2 oz t-trigs and jigs, and shallow matted milfoil with 1/2-1 oz jigs/plastics. The mojo is great for the mat punching, but pretty lousy at the rest, I would rather have a rod that is a little more "well rounded" while it might not be the best for mat puncing, but still get the job done just fine.

Not to steer you away from the IMX, but coming from somebody that spent a lot of time with legend tournaments/xtremes, I recently made a few switches of rods from tourneys/xtremes to Dobyns. There are still a few st. croixs I would never sell but the dobyns has got my hooked. Balance is amazing even with 7'4-7'6 rods. The only ones I have purchased so far are the DX744's and they are amazing. I'm still researching the flipping stick but for your requirements I would say the 765 flipping stick would probably be ideal. It's unreal how well these rods balance with their length and power.
