dont rule out cheap stuff just yet. :P the daiwa db minnow is $6, suspends perfectly, casts like a rocket, durable, good color schemes, and decent hooks. i have tried a LC pointer and the db minnow is 3/4 as good for less than half the price, if not almost on par.

 

 

The Daiwa DB minnow IS a great little bait!  Most of those TD baits are really good.  But........I think the db minnow was a $12-$15 bait when it was originally released. :eyebrows:

 

My mistake.  I was thinking of the older TD jerkbaits, not the newer DB Minnow, disregard what I said above. :embarassed2:

 

I'm sure the DB Minnow is a good bait (most Daiwa baits are) and it's only $6.99.  There are always exceptions to the rule.
