Fishing a 10" worm?

Featured Replies

I bought some Berkely 10" Power Worms, and I will probably do a Texas Rig or Carolina Rig, but not sure if one is preferred over the other considering the size of the worm, or if it even matters at all.

So, for those of you that fish with 10" worms, what presentation do you generally go with? Do you present it differently than you would a 7" worm?

Nope

That would be a big NO. A worm is a worm , no matter what size.

No. I fish a 4 inch worm the same as I would a 12 inch worm.

(don't be fooled by the size either, dinks will hit it just the same.It depends on what they want that particular day)

Don't matter the size of the worm.  The only thing you may need to adjust is the hook size.  Otherwise, it's texas rigged and fished the exact same way.

YES I fish them with higher expectations! ;D

An excellent point!
