I recently had a skirt fall off one of my spinnerbaits while in use.  instead of replacing the skirt..what are some creative things i could attached the the spinnerbait. Ex. like a grub..or is this a crazy idea. Thanks

Not crazy at all. I use Yum Money Minnows on a couple spinnerbaits and they work well, but I miss a few more hookups than I would like, even with a trailer hook.

Rarely loose skirts (I zip tie them on when I can  ). Another thing you can try is a 4" tube for a slimmer profile.

try a minnow or a plasitic grub or worm

Try a Netbait Baby Paca Craw, Fluke , small swim hallow body swimbaits, a ribbon tail worm but use the back half of the worm, a sizmic frog,robo frog,Netbait Baby Mad Paca, or there Action Cat, just to name a few!

A tube works well also I use it a lot in clear water.
