For those of you who haven't been following the Road Trip thread, this is a reminder that the trip is less than three months away.  We have blocked all the cabins and a number of rooms, but the resort is going to release all unreserved rooms/cabins to the general public thirty days in advance.   This means that you have only about six weeks left to make your reservation.

56 days from now I'll be on my way to Pickwick.  57 days from now I'll be pulling fish out of Pickwick.   Gonna mix it up this year.  Each year it's been something different.  The first year at Pickwick it was the shakey head that did the most damage for me.  The following year at KY it was the drop shot and last year at Guntersville it was the wacky worm.

 

I'll still be using those, but plan to use jigs, spinnerbaits, grubs and menaces just to keep things interesting.

 

Eagerly anticipating seeing old and new friends.
