Kvd Line Conditioner

Thanks for all your input, folks. I'm anxious to try this stuff. For the price I paid for that 4 oz. bottle, I surely hope it's a lot better than plain old food grade silicone spray. I can buy that stuff for around $4 a 12 0z can. That's what I've been using for years.

Sometimes you have to make a few casts to "shake out" the coils.  I know if a reel with CXX has been sitting a while, there will be some coils, but after you wet the line and a couple casts, it's fine.

I use a braid w/mono leader system and the kvd LC  goes on all the spools used for leader material.

I like it.

at first use i didnt really notice any differences and thought id wasted my money. but i bought it and kept using it. primarily spraying it on spooled line the night before a trip. i had some 25lb big game line on a couple catfish rods that was notorious for jumping off the spool or wrapping around the top of the rod tip. the KVD L&L stopped that completely. any remaining coils of line went away after a cast or two and the line soaking while i was waiting for a bite.

also after a cast, sometimes i will spray it on then just to get some deeper in the spool. and also now if im spooling a reel fresh i will spray some on a cloth and let the line run through the cloth between my fingers as im reeling it on.

I clean my rods and guides with pledge. Makes them nice and sleek.

As for the KVD conditioner.....just like that Hot Sauce commercial..."I put that s@#% on everything".

I hope its Lemon Pledge!
