I have a problem, I cant seem to break myself to take my soft plastics out of the all these zip-loc bags they come in and place them in a utility box. My tackle bag is getting pretty messy because of this.

Does it matter or is it all in my head. For some reason i think they won't be as effective.

My Son takes his out the bags, I do to, except I put them in ziploc bags so the JJ's magic doesn't stink everything up.. ;D  Then I store them in my 3700 storage box's which go in my back pack..

Why dont you put the bags in one of those worm binders? BPS makes some nice ones I just picked up. I leave the boxes for the hard baits.

I keep all mine in the original bags, then stick the ones I want to take fishing in what I call my "worm bag". It's just a small blue bag I got when I renewed my BASS subscription.

I've done both. I really can't tell a difference in the quality of the baits from doing either. If you fish frequently, then it's likely that you will use your plastics before you are going to need to worry about them going bad.

i take a few baits out of their factory bags and throw  them in ziplocks. i see no difference doing it this way as opposed to fishing them right out of their original bags....unless you let them sit in the sun.

Bags and utility boxes.

Grab a few baits, put them in a bag and put the bags in the ultility boxes, neat, clean and greater selection of baits and colors.

Last year I started leaving my plastics in their bags. What I do to keep similar baits together is, use a hole punch to make a hole in the upper corner. Then put a binder ring thru the hole of a couple bags of similar type of bait. Hope that makes sense!?.

The Walmart in Scottsboro stocks JJ's.

you know to be honest i have not checked wal-mart,

but scottsborro is a good little drive from me i might just have to order it =(.

I use to keep them all in bags until my tackle box got really messy. Now i just take them out and put them in my utility boxes.

I keep them in their original packaging and store them in utility trays.  I carry the trays in a tackle bag.  For some reason I have a hangup about taking them out of the original bag.
