What do you guys think of the Strike King KVD spinner baits? Just wondering how they performed, never really used spinner baits much...  

I've got some and I like them a lot. Good sharp hooks out of the package. Durable too.

I love em also. One of the few sb's I use.

I picked up a few recently and the swivels sucked on all of them, which surprised me because I've always had good luck with SK spinnerbaits.

I'm surprised, they have a BB swivel onthem which are usually pretty good...perhaps you got some defects?

Yeah, I must have got some bad ones somehow. One will barely spin at all, I don't think it's even fishable, the other two aren't a whole lot better.

 

On the bright side, I contacted SK about them and they told me to mail them in, and they'll send me some replacements and something for my trouble. So at least they take customer service seriously. That said, I'll probably just save the trouble and take the swivels off some of my old worn out spinners instead.

They actually have a rep who is a member on here. For a big company I am very impressed by their customer service.

Im a huge fan of them. Believe it or not even the cheap ones you find in WalMart. My favorite is the 1/2oz burners. That is my goto spinner now.

I like the colors, eyes & hooks and have used them extensively last year. Caught alot of fish on them. That being said, I did break three at the bend in the wire. I'm not used to breaking the shaft wire on spinnerbaits. I'll keep using them though as long as they catch fish.

I'm going in the morning and I was debating about running to Walmart tonight to get some..my store just got them for the first time..been wanting to try them out..what colors are you guys using?
