I am blessed to have an opportunity to travel for work.  With that said I don't always have time to fish for many hours.  When I do get the opportunity I like to keep a little "Emergency Bass Kit" with me just in case I can carve out at least one hour or so on the bank someplace.

3) Rod:  6'6" MH Spinning Rod

4) Reel:  Abu Garcia Orra SX with 10lb Braid (PowerPro)

 

I could probably pack more into that bag but it's about those key things I have confidence in.

That's a neat little kit. I have organized stuff like this over the years, but inevitably, things get pulled out and the kits fall apart.

 

But I do use the same type of bag for toting stuff around if I'm riding a bike to a local dock with my boys.

Pretty much looks exactly like what I have in my new every day carry tackle bag.

Enjoy! I didn't get to fish when I was in FL. Would have been nice. I bought the bag with this Emergency Kit in mind. Wish I had it then.

everything looks good. If  it were me though, id add a walking bait like a spook or sammy.

How do you like those Rapala lipless baits? Im a big redeye fan, but have been thinking about getting a Rapala.

I am a Red Eye Shad guy myself. My tournament bag is all 1/2oz Red Eyes. I got these Rapalas on clearance to try them out. Have not fished them yet.

I would like to see a small jerkbait and some topwaters (popper, buzzbait, frog, walker)

Looks like I need to add those inline spinners.  I have small jigs already although they are not hair jigs.

Update:  I have added 3 in-line spinners (gold, silver, firetiger), some 3/0 EWG hooks and a pack of Super Fluke Jr's

In-line spinners always seem to be overlooked...I guess people look at them as old school stuff. I have a few in my emergency bag as well as I do find they catch them...though I always seem to hook rock bass on the damned things :-)
