quantum guy here, just wondering if anyone knows if gander mtn reels gsx series was made by quantum  because i heard they were...i own nuthin but quantum   and saw they had deals on these reels so if made quantum i would trust they were worth buying

I know that Pflueger made them in the past. Still might?

Do a forum search I'm sure this was covered about a month ago. Baitcasters made by quantum, even come in a quantum box. Spinning pfueger, if memory serves

Those new GSX reels and rods look sick! Elite and tournament ..Id post a video but the mods will remove it more than likely since its actually from the Gander site.

 

You can google gsx quantum and youll see older models with quantum badging 

At some point the GSX reels were switched from pfleuger to quantum. They may have gone back to pflueger. 

It looks to me like they took a pfleuger and fubared it. Just my opinion but the last version by quantum were some nice reels
