Yup, I pulled the trigger on my first lucky craft.  I picked up the RC 1.5 in American Shad.  The bait looks amazing and I can't wait to use it!!!  I just hope I don't lose it the first day out.  This "could" be a problem though, because if I really like it, I can see a lot more LC's in my future.  I can already feel the bait monkey breathing down my neck!!

I hope this doesn't happen to you, but I have a funny Lucky Craft story for you.

About 4 years ago I was on the Lucky Craft ProStaff. One day I got a package from

UPS and it had some prototype baits in it. There was 1 each of about 3 different

baits. That day I headed to the lake to check out these new lures. After being on the

lake just a few minutes I was trying out one of my new baits and I was watching it come

through the water. Just as it got to the boat (with about 3' of line out) a huge Muskie came

out of nowhere and grabbed the lure. It proceeded to go straight under the boat and just about

snapped my rod in half. I didn't have enough line out to even think about playing the fish. He

just snapped my line and kept on going. So I only got to test that lure for about 5 minutes, but I

could say that at least one Muskie loved it.

I went from buying a few for certain boxes to having a box just for lucky crafts. Thats all I seem to really buy now.

I can say that I have not lost 1 lucky craft in the last two years.  I throw them into some nasty places.  All good things came to a end and I'll probley loss 10 or so this year.  I hope not but I'm not afraid to loss one.  I'm more afraid that  one of my boxes of Lucky Crafts will get ripped off.

LOL  That is a funny story JT!!!  That would probably be my luck.  I'm gonna go out next Saturday, we'll see how it goes.

I also just made my first Lucky Craft purchase . I ordered two  Rick Clunn's from BPS FOR 9.99 each.

Yup, that is what I did.  Although, now that I think about it, I probably should go back and pick up a couple more for that price.

Also, BPS had their senko knock offs 60 for $10.

I finally broke down and bought some Lucky Craft Pointers and Sammy's this Winter when they were on sale.  I tried out the DD Pointer 100 for the first time yesterday and caught quite a few fish on it though none were greater than 3 lbs.  The hooks were sweet and the action was good right out of the box, to which all of the Lucky Craft afficionados will attest.  I have a feeling I'll be using my other jerkbaits much less.  Now about getting some of these LC crankbaits . . . . . . .
